BOAT STATUS LOG (6.1)
06/26/2004 Stephanie and John sailed Emery Cove
to the Golden Gate Bridge and back in about 4.5 hours with 10-30 kts of SW wind with the first reef in the main, and the working jib. Clear, bright, cool to warm temps..
09/04/04 Stephanie, Mike and John motor-sailed
past Golden-Gate Bridge with reefed main, jib and
self-tacking cutter staysail for about 6 warm hrs.
03/25/06 After two year hiatus of sailing monthly and developing new career in the Healthcare field, this is the year of upgrading liveaboard systems on the sloop, opening up possibilities of extended cruising. This day's project involved installation of a modular toilet and sewage holding tank successfully. Next project is installation of davits so that the Caribe inflatable can be hung off the stern. The money, $1200, was available until our home video system failed; oh well..
10/29/07 A few weeks ago skippered 'HEART' to Berkeley Marina for a bottom paint job and rig inspection.
12/28/2009 We have received new jib and main from Sailrite in Indiana and are breaking same in.
From the few times we've used them, they're right-sized, well shaped, well made sails; for their $4000 price well worth the cost, and timely.
